New Uncharted 4 Trailer Details Leaked: “Has Motion Capture Sessions, CG Scene” & More

Earlier this week, Sony confirmed via their official Twitter channel that a brand new trailer of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will be premiered with Star Wars: The Force Awakens in select few theaters across US. The trailer will still take some time to go online for general public but some details have emerged about it (the sequences that were showcased in the trailer) all thanks to a Neogaf user Abdiel.

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End

According to the details shared by Abdiel, this new Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End trailer features motion capture session, a small CG sequence and many other things.

“So I just saw this at my theatre, IMAX showing in Hooksett, NH.

There was BTS footage, showing Nolan North and Troy Baker doing Mocap stuff, with Bruce and so on discussing the impact of the focus on the story and ideals behind the game design, which was pretty cool. Troy and Nolan both weighed in on some stuff, and they showed some of the footage and then the overlay of the mocap of the moment in the scene, which was impressive.

The CG scene was really brief, with a really solemn piece to tie into it, with a sort of tagline, dramatic flash-scene, just something as a splash image, the BTS was much more impressive and a more than 2 minutes long, so that was the real ‘meat’ of it.

They also showed the Star Wars ‘nostalgia’ commercial for Battlefront leading into the opening of the movie as well.

All in all, definitely a solid PS4 representation, hah.”

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is scheduled to launch on March 18 exclusively on PlayStation 4.

And for god’s sake, don’t read anything about the subject you’re talking about except the title of the article/video, and if you want, you can misinterpret that too.
